Program Overview
At the Clinical Infectious Diseases Center of Keio University Hospital, we are committed to training specialists capable of providing infectious disease care and infection control. We prefer applicants who have already completed general training in internal medicine or pediatrics and have several years of experience in those fields.
Competencies to Achieve
There are six key competencies required for future infectious disease specialists, which form the core competencies of the training at the Clinical Infectious Diseases Center of Keio University Hospital.
Training System
The program typically lasts for three years, with the goal of achieving certification as a specialist by the Japanese Association for Infectious Diseases through on-the-job training.
