Training Strategy
On-the-job training is conducted in the following activities:
- Consultation from other departments
- Follow-up of positive blood cultures and positive cultures from sterile specimens
- Inpatient management of patients with HIV, tuberculosis, and organ transplants
- Outpatient care (including infectious disease consultations and vaccinations)
- Infection control (routine measures and outbreak management)
- Education of students, residents, and medical staff
In addition, internal and external training will be provided as needed. We aim to offer a flexible program tailored to individual preferences. Within the university, collaboration with basic science departments or pursuing further education, such as earning an MPH at the School of Public Health, are also possibilities. We actively support the acquisition of skills that cannot be fully developed within our department alone.
