(Abstract Release) The 3rd NTM Host Research Consortium International Workshop will be held on February 24, 2024.

Conference

Nontuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) lung disease is a chronic and progressive respiratory disease caused by low-pathogenic mycobacteria. We were the first in the world to conduct a genome-wide association study (GWAS) on pulmonary MAC disease and have reported the disease susceptibility gene CHP2. Through international collaborative research with teams in Korea and the United States, this SNP was also found to be significantly associated with both Korean and American populations.
To further promote international collaborative research in this field, we have established the NTM Host Research Consortium (https://pulmonaryinfection.com/). Through this network, we aim to build an international genomic cohort for NTM lung disease.
On Saturday, February 24, 2024, the 3rd NTM Host Research Consortium International Workshop, chaired by Dr. Namgong Lake, will be held. Participation will be possible online or in person at the venue (Keio University Shinanomachi Campus New Educational Building, 3rd Floor, Auditorium 3), and the event will feature lectures from global speakers, including participants from four countries. We warmly invite you to attend.
