7.Pathological Investigation of Mycobacterial Diseases through Infection Experiments

Research Overview

The pathology of mycobacterial infections remains largely unclear. To address this, we are conducting infection experiments using human macrophages and mice to better understand the disease mechanisms of mycobacterial infections. At the Keio University Shinanomachi Campus, we have a biosafety level 3 laboratory where we also perform infection experiments with Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
