9.Research on Infectious Disease Control in Educational and Medical Institutions

Research Overview

Educational institutions are places where students live in groups, making them susceptible to outbreaks of infectious diseases, which can significantly impact educational activities. Similarly, medical institutions serve many elderly and immunocompromised patients, making them prone to outbreaks and severe cases of infectious diseases, which can greatly affect the medical system. Our department, in cooperation with the Department of Infection Control at Keio University Hospital and the Health Management Center of Keio University, is working to examine appropriate infectious disease control measures for educational and medical institutions.
