Current Focus and Aspirations

It is well known that diabetic patients and dialysis patients are more prone to infections and are at higher risk of severe outcomes. My clinical practice and research focus on elucidating the mechanisms behind this vulnerability and finding ways to reduce infection risks for immunocompromised patients.
